About JoAnn
JoAnn Steffes is the principal owner of Steffes HR Advantage. Prior to founding the company, she was a Managing Partner at PeopleFirst HR Solutions, Vice President-Human Resource Director for Ovation Marketing and worked with other notable businesses such as Hanover Direct/The Company Store and Marshfield Clinic.
With more than 20 years of experience in diverse industries, JoAnn delivers in-depth knowledge in the following areas:

In addition to her accomplishments in Human Resources, she has also provided career transition services for more than five years through one-on-one coaching and group workshops.
JoAnn is currently on the La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She holds a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, and is a member of several professional organizations including the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
